Primus The Blend was one of the first high quality blends to come from Chile. It is produced in the newly named DO Apalta. An expressive blend that brings together the diversity of the selected varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon is the base and provides structure, while Merlot adds red fruit and vitality on the palate. Carménère delivers density and smoothness, combined with the soft and complex finish of the Petit Verdot. Cabernet Franc adds elegance and persistence. Ideal with grilled or baked meats with thick sauces such as gorgonzola cheese.
